This 12th edition of ‘Human Geography: Landscapes of Human Activities‘ (PDF) keeps the company and structure of its earlier variations. Like them, it seeks to present its users to the scope and excitement of geography and its significance to their daily lives and functions as informed residents. We acknowledge that for any students, human geography may be their first or only book in geography and this, their very first or only book in the discipline. For these college students especially, we look for to communicate the richness and breadth of human geography and to offer insight into the nature and intellectual difficulties of the field of geography itself.
